Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist with 1+ year of CT experience and GE equipment experience for an overnight shift supporting a Level II trauma and stroke center.

Details

• 12-week travel assignment in a hospital CT Scan department
• Unit is equipped with 3 CT scanners using GE and Siemens equipment
• 2 technologists staffed overnight
• Documentation systems include Meditech and GE Centricity
• Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• May float to main CT department as needed
• Minimal call required
• Supports ER department with stroke and trauma cases, focusing on efficient turnaround times
• Standard CT scans performed on this shift with no invasive CT procedures required

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification and BLS required
• Florida license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Trauma and stroke experience preferred
• Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform preferred

Additional Information

• Works closely with the ER team to expedite patient care and support timely trauma and stroke response
• Patient-focused approach following AIDET communication standards
• Black scrubs required per hospital division policy
• Strong leadership and a tenured team support this department
• Facility features a Level II trauma center and Level II NICU
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
