Sanitation Operator

Job Summary Sanitation Operator is responsible for general clean‑up of the entire facility (food processing facility), including production common areas, bathrooms, offices, QC/R&D labs, and warehouse areas. Minimum Requirements HS Diploma or GED Must be mechanically inclined Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, and buckets Ability to read procedures and safety information in English Good organizational skills Demonstrate ability to work independently, set priorities, and make decisions with general guidance and supervision Good verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Ability to resolve problems and communicate status in a timely manner Ability to effectively multi‑task to meet deadlines and commitments Ability to work in fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Knowledge of sanitary practices Key Duties and Responsibilities Facility cleaning (common areas, halls, traffic areas, building exteriors, warehouse) following a master sanitation schedule and documenting as required Cleaning of all restrooms (production and office), keeping supplies stocked Cleaning of all break rooms, stocking supplies as required Cleaning of QC/R&D labs and office areas Maintaining ground free of trash, debris, and dirt Removal of cobwebs, insects, etc., throughout facility Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of areas according to company GMPs and SOPs; maintain required documentation Perform maintenance duties (change light bulbs, AC filter change, vent cleaning, etc.) as scheduled on sanitation schedule Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds Regular exposure to extreme heat and cold temperatures and sometimes wet conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr
