Registered Nurse -PRN Cardiology

IMS is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Registered Nurse in our Cardiology clinic. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for facilitating treatments to patients in the office and assisting the physician with treatment plans, instilling the IMS mission, vision and values in the work performed.

THIS IS A PRN POSITION

Responsibilities Under the supervision of a physician, the RN will take patients medical histories and vital signs and record the information in the EHR system Examine and assist with the treatment of patients Order necessary laboratory tests, track results and ensure the physician reviews the results in a timely manner Record progress notes in the EHR system Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans Order and carry out chemotherapy: including starting IVs, performing injections, drawing blood samples Travel may be required depending on business needs Hours may vary and be outside of normal office hours depending on business needs Requirements Registered Nurse with licensure in Arizona High School Diploma or GED Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures Ability to manage multiple changing priorities effectively and in an organized fashion Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA guidelines and secure Protected Health Information at all times Capacity to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe environment Benefits of Working with IMS Purpose-Driven Mission – Be part of a team that’s committed to making the world a healthier place.
