The Director of Quality Management leads the development and continuous improvement of our unified global Quality Management System (QMS), ensures compliance with external ISO standards (ISO 9001) and customer quality requirements, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate views and leverages QMS as a toolkit to drive improvements in business performance and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities:Develop and execute a global quality strategy aligned with organizational objectivesDrive harmonization of processes, documentation, and quality standards across both manufacturing sitesLead Quality Engineers and support their professional growth, training, and project ownershipSelect and monitor operational KPIs (FPY, COPQ, Scrap, etc.) and ensure visibility across both operationsMaintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 compliant QMSServe as the primary owner of customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality escalationsLead internal audit programs and quality management reviewsEnsure readiness and own execution for external auditsSupport new supplier qualifications, re-qualifications, audits, and corrective actions (SCARs).Oversee incoming inspection for both sites, including setting acceptance criteria, establishing sampling plans, managing inspection documentation, and handling of nonconformancesPartner with Operations and Engineering to resolve production issues and increase process capabilityAlign with Sales and Customer Service to support customer complaints, escalations, and replacementsCandidate OverviewEducational/Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required, technical discipline preferred5 - 10 years of quality management experience, preferably in manufacturing environmentsExperience leading multi-site quality operations is preferredSignificant experience with ISO 9001 required, experience with ISO 17025 and/or ISO 17034 is strongly preferredRequired Competencies:Professional experience with root-cause analysis tools and structured problem-solvingExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of metrology, calibration, and quality control conceptsAbility to see the big picture and determine the best course of action from a business perspectiveCompensation:Competitive base salaryCompetitive benefits package including 401KAnnual bonuses based on profit growth of the company#Sensorex #L1-KH1Not the right fit?
