As a Security Guard Patrol Observation in Pensacola, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and youth. You will support a welcoming environment through attentive observation, routine reporting, and exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and youth at a government juvenile services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting respectfully with youth, staff, visitors, and public-service personnel in a potentially dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
