Job Description Job Description Job Position: Sanitation Technician Location: Ixonia, WI 53036 Pay Rate: $22.50/hr Shift: 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM Description: About the role Sanitation is what keeps a food plant running and keeps product safe. In this role you'll break down, clean, and reassemble production equipment, handle plant-wide cleaning, and work directly with shipping, quality, and maintenance when issues come up. If you're mechanically minded and take pride in doing a job right the first time, you'll do well here. What you'll do Clean kettles, totes, pipes, machines, walls, and production areas Disassemble and reassemble machinery correctly and safely Maintain non-production areas including break rooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices Work with cleaning chemicals and solvents according to safety procedures Partner with shipping, quality, and maintenance to resolve issues as they come up Train and mentor new team members Follow all food quality and safety guidelines, and wear required PPE per training Report concerns to your supervisor right away Other duties as assigned What you bring Mechanical aptitude — comfortable taking equipment apart and putting it back together Ability to work safely around industrial cleaning chemicals Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage your time and stay organized without close supervision Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift Prior industrial, sanitation, or food plant cleaning experience preferred, but we'll train the right person #bb1 PandoLogic.
