Duties and Responsibilities Check patient medical records for past histories, enter in computer system and file. Take medical histories and vital signs of patients. Maintain client educational material efficiently. Perform departmental housekeeping duties. Admit and discharge patients. Takes, processes, and logs prescription refills in-house, call‑out pharmacy and online pharmacy. Monitor hospital patients and log vital signs. Administer medications to patients as needed. Place catheters and perform blood draws. Restrain and assist the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia procedures. Lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily, multi-task, and maintain safety standards. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED, and 1‑2 years of related experience or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
