Maintenance Engineer

The Francis Marion Hotel is a historic hotel in a sought after town of hospitality. About the Role The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep of the property and its systems. The Maintenance Engineer's willingness to “WOW” our guests and go Above & Beyond is a must. Responsibilities Balancing and handling the needs of guests Securing Preventative Maintenance of all areas within the Hotel Prioritizing projects and work requests Maintaining a safe work environment at all times Qualifications 1+ year of prior general facilities maintenance experience preferably for a hotel. Required Skills Experience with, but not limited to, painting, carpentry Ability to repair and paint drywall and other surfaces Ability to touch up furnishings as needed Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in every situation Preferred Skills Experience with, but not limited to, painting, carpentry Ability to repair and paint drywall and other surfaces Ability to touch up furnishings as needed Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in every situation Pay range and compensation package $20 hr.
