Payroll SpecialistLocation: On-site, North Canton, OH 44720 Pay: $28.00/hour Hours: Monday – Friday, with a start time between 7:30AM and 8:00AM Training Schedule: During the first two weeks, hours will be 7:30AM to 4:30/5:00PM until payroll processing is completed. If you thrive in a collaborative setting, excel at managing complex payroll operations, and want to be a vital part of a growing organization, this opportunity is for you!Must-Haves:Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience, including payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employeesExperience processing payroll for a multi-state U.S. workforceHands-on experience with a payroll or ERP system (Dayforce strongly preferred)Intermediate Excel skills, including: FormulasVLOOKUP/XLOOKUPPivot TablesData reconciliationWhat You'll Bring to the Table:3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including full-cycle payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees.Proven expertise in managing multi-state payroll for approximately 1,000 employees within the U.S.Strong proficiency with ERP or payroll systems, preferably Dayforce.Intermediate Excel skills such as formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.Experience conducting payroll audits, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Excellent communication skills, high level of accuracy, and confidentiality.Nice to Have Skills:Experience supporting payroll for over 1,000 employees.Familiarity with Dayforce implementation or advanced modules.Knowledge of Prevailing Wage Payrolls and payroll accounting.Certifications such as CPP or FPC.Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.Prior experience working in dynamic environments with tight deadlines.Exposure to payroll system upgrades and process improvements.Other Requirements:Flexibility to support year-end processes and audit procedures.Willingness to stay current on evolving payroll laws and regulations.Ready to elevate your payroll career?
