Personal Care Attendant I

Job Overview The Personal Care Attendant provides support to participants across all platforms of delivery of care. Duties include coordinating preparation of all food services, assisting with center activities, and coordinating delivery of quality activity programs for all participants. The attendant ensures that recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient are met and accompanies/assists PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement (to be attained within 30 days of employment). Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail elderly (geriatric) and disabled population. Bilingual in English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred. Valid BLS certification or higher (AHA or Red Cross). Compensation $25.00 - $25.00 hourly.
