In this access control role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the store, loading areas, parking lot, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access-related events, and daily activities, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
