Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Snowflake, AZ

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK through 1st grade students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Key Qualifications:

• Active SLPA licensure (state requirements must be current)
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably ages 3-7
• Understanding of speech and language development in early learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language support to PreK, kindergarten, and 1st grade students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic activities
• Document student progress and session notes accurately
• Participate in team meetings and contribute input on student progress
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students within the caseload
