The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Office Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a busy OMS practice in Cypress, TX. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on ownership: you'll lead the front-office and administrative team, manage the patient experience end-to-end, and keep the business side of the practice — scheduling, insurance, billing, and compliance — running smoothly. You'll work closely with the surgical team and report directly into practice leadership. What You'll Own Run front-office operations: scheduling, patient records, and insurance verification. Hire, train, and manage performance for the administrative team; build a positive, high-functioning work environment. Be the face of the practice — greet patients and families and set the tone for a great visit. Oversee billing, coding, and collections; monitor accounts receivable and resolve claim denials and discrepancies. Prepare financial and collections reports and support practice budgeting. Keep the practice compliant with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulations. Act as the liaison between the surgical team, patients, vendors, and insurance carriers. Manage inventory and ordering for office and medical supplies. Contribute to local marketing efforts — social media, email campaigns, and community events. What You Bring 2+ years of experience in an office or practice management role, ideally in oral surgery, dental, or another healthcare setting. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred — equivalent experience welcome. Hands-on experience with medical/dental billing, coding, and insurance claims. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing a team. Excellent communication skills and a genuine, patient-first attitude. Proficiency with practice management software and MS Office. Comfort handling sensitive patient information with discretion.
