Process Assistant, RSR

Overview This full‑time position requires in‑role training at an operating site. The training will last more than five weeks and will be located more than 50 miles from the home site. All travel, accommodations, and related expenses will be booked and paid for by Amazon. Amazon’s Long‑Term Rural Super Rural (RSR) organization is dedicated to delivering reliable service even in our most remote areas. Process Assistants are an integral part of the Last Mile operations in RSR, managing daily department duties such as labor allocation, meeting facilitation, job assignment, communication with internal and external suppliers, and ensuring continuous improvement. Responsibilities Track and report ATS/labor hours. Assist with production duties, train associates, and verify SOP compliance. Track and report metrics to ensure successful area performance. Assess associate work performance and provide timely, detailed feedback. Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives. Maintain a full understanding of workflow and daily production goals. Review and update SOPs as required. Ensure work areas remain clean and properly equipped. Identify and address safety hazards, and participate in safety initiatives. Coach associates on safe work practices. Report all job injuries in a timely manner according to policy. Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers. Basic Qualifications At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, and/or prior Amazon experience. Awareness of and willingness to use OPEX tools and techniques. Problem‑solving and analytical skills. Effective written and verbal communication across organizational levels. History of meeting or exceeding departmental goals. Experience leading teams. Ability to give direction to team members using independent judgment. Strong organization and time‑management skills. Compensation & Benefits The starting pay for this position is US $22.00 per hour. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible for shift differentials, overtime, performance bonuses, and benefits such as EAP, mental health support, a medical advice line, and 401(k) matching.
