Position Summary The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. The Associate is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Picking responsibilities: using a pallet jack to pick orders accurately, staging products appropriately, and handling packing, banding, shrink wrapping, and labeling as required by client SOPs. Quality Control responsibilities: verifying product and order accuracy, ensuring quality standards are met, reporting damages or discrepancies, and maintaining proper documentation per SOP. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: executing safety protocols, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, assisting with warehouse security, and complying with all site‑specific policies and OSHA/SDS standards. Equipment operation: operating pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining equipment condition, and reporting any problems. Other duties: working overtime as required and performing any additional assignments. Minimum Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED. Work environment tolerance: able to work in unregulated temperatures ranging from mildly to moderately cold or warm. Language: English (reading, writing, verbal). Mathematical skills: basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities, counting inventory, and related tasks. Additional skills: strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, adaptability to change, and thriving in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. Current or prior MHE certification. Physical Demands Occasionally: handling/fingering and sitting. Frequently: bending. Constantly: walking, standing, and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 21–50 pounds, with the ability to reach above the shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel. Work Environment The employee experiences low to moderate noise levels and is rarely exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals. Compensation Expected hourly base pay range: $17.00 – $24.52, determined by job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
