Recruiter Summary of Position:

• Job Title: Territory Sales Representative (Western PA).
• Location: Western Pennsylvania (Field-Based position). Around Pittsburgh, PA is ideal.
• Work Arrangement: 100% on-site / Field-Based (Travel within territory).
• Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary + commission ($150,000+ OTE).
• Training: Experience; front-line Sales Manager available to help with training and development.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of outside B2B/field sales experience required. Experience in heavy equipment, municipal, construction, or utility sectors is preferred.
• Strong hands-on equipment demonstration capabilities.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on sales experience with sewer/street maintenance gear, refuse equipment, jetting systems, or vacuum trucks.
• Established network with Western PA Public Works Directors, Fleet Managers, and municipal decision-makers.
• Strong working knowledge of municipal bidding procedures and cooperative purchasing programs.

Territory Sales Manager – Western Pennsylvania

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will serve as the premier solutions provider for public works departments, municipalities, and utility contractors across Western Pennsylvania. You won't just be closing deals; you'll build long-term relationships with municipal leaders, step into the field to run live equipment demonstrations, and keep critical infrastructure moving forward. Driving through your territory, you'll partner directly with Fleet Managers, Engineers, and Public Works Directors to solve their tough equipment challenges—directly impacting the safety and operation of local communities.

What You'll Do to Succeed:

• Own Your Territory: Execute a strategic sales plan to retain established clients and aggressively prospect new municipal, utility, and industrial accounts across Western PA.
• Demonstrate Excellence: Conduct hands-on field evaluations, equipment demonstrations, and technical presentations to showcase real-world performance.
• Build Trusted Partnerships: Develop long-term consultative relationships with key decision-makers, navigating municipal bidding processes and purchasing requirements.
• Deliver Complete Solutions: Recommend targeted equipment, replacement parts, and service offerings to meet exact operational needs.
• Represent the Brand: Attend key industry trade shows, municipal association meetings, and regional customer events.

What You Bring:

• 3–5+ years of successful outside sales experience within municipal equipment, heavy machinery, public works, or construction markets.
• Comfort operating heavy equipment for on-site customer demonstrations and training.
• Valid CDL (or willingness to obtain one within a defined time frame) and a clean driving record.
• Strong track record of meeting revenue targets, managing field schedules independently, and leveraging CRM systems to track growth.
