This role sits within a regional healthcare organization providing primary care to underserved and uninsured populations across the Los Angeles area. The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant joins the clinical team in Harbor City, delivering OB-GYN and prenatal care to a patient population that relies heavily on Spanish language services.

What You'll Do

This provider delivers comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for women across the lifespan, with particular emphasis on routine and complex prenatal care management. Care is provided in both English and Spanish to meet the linguistic needs of the local patient population, across an outpatient workflow averaging approximately 20 to 24 patient encounters per day. The provider develops, implements, and documents individualized patient management plans, monitors prenatal progress, and ensures continuity of care across visits. Patient education covers prenatal wellness, nutrition, family planning, and postpartum care, with referrals made to specialists when high risk maternal fetal interventions are needed. The role also includes maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records for all visits, lab orders, and diagnostic follow ups.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, with specialization or strong clinical focus in Women's Health/OB-GYN
• Active, unrestricted California state licensure as an NP or PA
• National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Valid DEA registration
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Complete bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Minimum 1 year of post graduate experience managing prenatal and obstetric patient populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a community health or safety net clinic setting
• Experience with high volume outpatient OB-GYN workflows
