Packaging Technician

Job Description
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for Temporary Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a very busy season for a company in the Memphis, Tennessee, area. Morning, Evening, and Overnight Shifts Available. Once confirmed, there will be a 24-48 hour notice before the start of the assignment and the assignment is anticipated to be a straight seven days of work. For great workers, there is the potential to be asked back during other busy times.

As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You may also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures.Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required.You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours. Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
• Basic Computer Skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel AND twist up to 8 hours
• Ability to work in a GMP environment, which includes but is not limited to wearing required PPE

Preferred Qualifications:

-2+ months of packaging experience

Pay Rate: Starting at $15/hour
