Healthcare Purchasing & Contracts Agent Key Responsibilities Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain purchasing records, vendor information, and contract documentation. Assist with reviewing vendor pricing and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. Support contract administration activities, including tracking contract renewals and compliance requirements. Communicate effectively with vendors, internal departments, and management regarding purchasing needs and order status. Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all purchasing and contract‑related activities. Assist with inventory and supply management initiatives as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Healthcare Purchasing & Contracts Agent Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Demonstrated interest in cost containment and process improvement. Healthcare Purchasing & Contracts Agent Preferred Qualifications Experience using a purchasing, procurement, ERP, or materials management system. Previous experience in healthcare purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support. Contract management or contract administration experience.
