Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to join our educational team! The ideal candidate will have experience tutoring or teaching reading, language arts, and/or math. This role involves working with students of various ages including elementary, middle school, and high school to provide personalized instruction.
- You set your schedule - choose what days and times work best with your schedule. Our instructional hours are from 4-7pm Mon - Thurs and Saturdays from 10am - 2pm.
- A positive, low stress educational environment - we strive to make learning enjoyable and comfortable for our students and our teachers. With our low teacher: student ration and positive token motivation system - we make your job easy and fun.
- No busy work - we want you to do what you do best - teach! So we'll take care of all everything else including lesson planning, parent meetings, and clerical/administrative requirements.
- Ideal candidates will be a state-certified teacher with a PEL in Secondary Education (working towards, current, or expired).
- Ability to work 6-10 hours a week between the hours of 4-7pm Mon-Thur and/or Saturdays from 10:00am - 2:00pm .
- Proficiency in utilizing learning technology to facilitate instruction and improve student engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse learners.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
- Higher salary for candidates with the ability to teach additional subjects including ACT/SAT prep.
