Staff Software Engineer/ Tech Lead - Onboard Model Consolidation

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer/ Tech Lead - Onboard Model Consolidation to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a manufacturing environment. Location: Mountain View, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $251,000 – $310,000 annually Responsibilities Lead software architecture for onboard model consolidation across subsystems Design and build an onboard framework for efficient model integration Align and unify model data generation subsystems Develop robust simulation solutions for model validation Collaborate with model teams for productionization of unified models Establish best practices in software development Accelerate model development and release processes Qualifications 8+ years in software development for large-scale products BS/MS in Computer Science or related field Extensive experience in C++ software architecture for mission-critical systems Experience leading complex engineering projects as a technical lead Deep understanding of ML deployment and inference frameworks Benefits Eligibility for annual bonus program Participation in equity incentive plan Access to a generous company benefits program Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
