Physician Assistant

Job Description

The Physician Assistant will be available to the private medical service to initiate the evaluation of patients with acute problems, perform specified minor procedures, collection of blood specimens, and participate in other activities of the Department as might be assigned by the head of the Department of Medicine.

Education And Credentials

Current NYS registration as a Registered Physician Assistant and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Training, NY State CHAMP course completion within (1) year, Midwest Regional CAC basic and advanced medical training academy completion within (1) year, completion of Forensic Course within (1) year upon hire or transfer.

Experience

One (1) year of OB/GYN experience required
