Job Details Job Location: Realo Drugs Onslow (Piney Green) - Jacksonville, NC 28546 Real Drugs is a community retail pharmacy that has been in business for over 25 years. Description of Responsibilities Handles cash transactions with customers using the Point-of-Sale register Scan prescriptions and collect payment Post payments to the customers A/R account Issue receipts, refunds, change for purchased items Redeem stamps and coupons Provide excellent customer service Greet customers when entering the store Maintain clean and tidy checkouts areas and product shelves Maintain reports of transactions Performs the duties of opening and closing the Point of Sale register Answer the phone with a calm, courteous, helpful voice. Stock shelves with merchandise Assist in inventory counts Assist in answer customers inquiries Perform cashier duties for the pharmacy. Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Pharmacy Manager. Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients and coworkers. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participate in the Company’s Performance Improvement Program as requested Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist. Qualifications Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Strong communication skills in speaking and writing. Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate orders. Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
