Registered Nurse (RN) Same Day Surgery

Join our team as a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Same Day Surgery, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to surgical and procedural patients throughout their pre-operative and post-operative journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to their surgical needs.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures by explaining the process, confirming informed consent, and ensuring they are ready for anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their statuses during recovery from anesthesia.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and document them accurately in patient records.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery processes.
• Coordinate nursing interventions to help achieve expected outcomes and ensure seamless care transitions.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in ambulatory surgery centers or same-day surgery units where RNs work closely with patients undergoing short-term procedures.
