Corporate Attorney (6+ Years Experience)
Location: Chicago, IL
Firm: AmLaw 200 Law Firm
Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify an experienced mergers & acquisitions attorney with 6+ years of experience for its corporate business unit for its Chicago, IL office.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and negotiation of corporate and transactional documents of all kinds
- governance documents
- operating documents
- supply agreements
- compliance documents
- merger and acquisition documents
Represent clients in the negotiation of business transactions of all types
- Strong business development experience is a plus
Detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Demonstrated strong work ethic and professionalism
Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
Active and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
Salary Range: $225,000 – $300,000 (DOE)
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
