Experienced would be level I and level II below.Level I Functions:Read work instructions, work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and/or receive verbal instructions regarding required dutiesInterpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications to build/test quality productsAssemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipmentCompletely assemble, test and package product built on the lineOccasionally disassemble and repair products returned by customerSet up moderate to semi?complex test equipment on a variety of products to measure and record assembly conformance to test specificationsSet up test stands with appropriate plumbing for pneumatic and hydrostatic tests from required product test specificationsComplete required test documentation including test reportsInspect, understand, and document all materials, heat numbers, components, subassemblies, and specifications to assure they meet the accepted quality standardsComplete required inspection documentation, marking of heat numbers and nameplateParticipate in Lean events with active involvement in CI initiativesReport unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticedLevel II Functions:Assists in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of less experienced assemblersEnsure accurate movement of inventory through their assigned area – transactions, production reporting, resolution of negatives, etc.Execute and track shift performance with GEMBA boards daily ensuring root-cause analysis and identify counter measuresCompletes Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) including inventory transactionsComplete and report PR's and ECN reportsAssists in preparing, maintaining, and utilizing test stations and test equipment for factory and system acceptance testingPerform layered process audits and quality audits as assigned. Perform product quality audits and roving audits as requiredComprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process as it pertains to your respective production cell(s)Proficient in Oracle. Must employ Oracle to navigate and execute tasks to complete work orders, WIP transactions, material workbench, supply demand, material requirements, simulate discrete jobs, etc.Details:Candidate must reside in: Houston TX or surrounding areasWork week and shift: 5AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday.
