Responsibilities Receive direction from the Lab Manager, Regional Director, and Laboratory Medical Director, working cooperatively with Administration, Physicians, Allied Health Staff, patients, and residents. Perform analyses on biological specimens, such as blood and urine, to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. Participate in operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities. Commit to a two‑year tenure in this position. Qualifications Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology (MT), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS); or a bachelor’s degree plus a certification in MLS, CLS, or MT recognized by NAACLS. Associate’s degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratory‑training program. Skills Experience working in a medical field. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize work, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing workloads. Preferred: Phlebotomy certification. Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations for assignments as needed. Schedule Part Time. Primary shift: 10‑hour weekend day shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Microbiology). Occasional 8‑hour weekday evening shift, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM. Every 3rd holiday rotation. Minimum of one weekend off per month. Compensation Pay range: $32.43 – $48.66 for MT; $26.52 – $39.32 per hour for MLT.
