Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a travel assignment requiring expertise in emergency nursing and the ability to handle critical situations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Triage, assess, and treat patients experiencing medical emergencies.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN License (Required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience (Required).
- Vaccination Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster.
- 2024-2025 flu vaccine.
- Candidates without a current flu vaccine must provide an attestation of receiving it before start.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Overtime:
- Daily OT after 24 hours based on multiplier.
- Weekly OT after 40 hours based on multiplier.
- On-Call: Not required.
