Registered Nurse - Trauma Orthopedics

Role Leads and coordinates nursing staff on a Med Surg unit, ensuring quality patient care and clinical objectives are met. Responsibilities Assigns, educates, and monitors staff; Evaluates performance; Assesses patient care needs; Develops care assignments; Collaborates with advanced practice providers; Evaluates patient outcomes; Addresses care complaints; Contributes to staff hiring, training, and development; Responds to emergencies and performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; minimum one year of RN experience; strong leadership, communication, and assessment skills; physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling. Licenses & Certifications Valid RN license and BLS certification in the applicable state, with licensure requirements varying by location.
