Position Overview

POLA is looking for a talented and versatile Videographer / Editor to join our growing creative team. This role is responsible for bringing ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling, from capturing high-quality footage on set to crafting polished, engaging content in post-production.

Working across commercial, branded, lifestyle, and social content, the ideal candidate has a strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling, along with the technical skills to execute projects from concept through final delivery. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera and in the edit suite, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video content for commercial campaigns, branded content, social media, and digital platforms.
\n
• Operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment across studio and on-location productions.
\n
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers, Photographers, and other team members to execute creative concepts.
\n
• Edit and assemble footage into compelling, polished video content that aligns with the creative vision and project objectives.
\n
• Develop engaging content across multiple formats, including commercials, social media, product videos, lifestyle content, and brand films.
\n
• Perform color correction, color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and other post-production tasks as needed.
\n
• Manage media organization, file transfers, and data backups to ensure all footage is properly secured throughout production.
\n
• Adapt content for various platforms, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications.
\n
• Maintain and organize production equipment, ensuring it is properly prepared and ready for each shoot.
\n
• Stay current with emerging production techniques, editing workflows, and creative trends.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 3+ years of professional experience in videography, cinematography, and video editing.
\n
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in commercial, branded, lifestyle, or product video production.
\n
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe Creative Suite.
\n
• Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, exposure, and audio capture.
\n
• Experience working with professional cinema cameras and production equipment.
\n
• Strong storytelling, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
\n
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative creative team.
\n
• Willingness to travel for shoots and work flexible hours when production schedules require.
\n

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial advertising and agency production.
\n
• Knowledge of photography and an understanding of how still and motion production work together.

• Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
\n
• Familiarity with social media content trends and platform-specific creative requirements.

• Experience working with clients and participating in creative development.
