Purchasing Specialist/ Order Entry

Fusco Personnel is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for purchase order processing, vendor coordination, procurement support activities, delivery tracking, and ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures. The Purchasing Specialist will work closely with internal departments including manufacturing, finance, quality, and accounts payable to support efficient purchasing operations and supplier performance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue purchase orders across multiple departments and functions
• Manage purchasing request queues, delivery tracking, and communication with requisitioners regarding order status and supplier updates
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, finance, accounts payable, and other internal teams to resolve vendor issues and supply concerns
• Support procurement operations through maintenance of item pricing databases and supplier information within ERP systems
• Assist with request for quotation (RFQ) processes and support vendor evaluation activities related to quality, pricing, delivery, and service
• Review purchase orders for compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
• Support invoice resolution activities and assist with merchandise returns or payment authorizations as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Purchasing certification such as CPSM, CIP, CPP, or SCMP preferred
• 0–3 years of purchasing experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 5–10 years of related experience with an Associate degreeBottom of Form

Salary: $24.00-$29.00/hour
