Job Summary

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Bilingual Leasing Consultant for a multifamily apartment community in the Houston, TX area. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a friendly and professional personality, and previous experience in apartment leasing.

The Leasing Consultant will assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process, conduct property tours, follow up with leads, and help maintain strong occupancy rates. Candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish and comfortable communicating with a diverse resident population.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and provide a welcoming, professional leasing experience.
• Conduct property tours and showcase available apartments, amenities, and community features.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person in both English and Spanish.
• Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into leases.
• Process rental applications, verify required documentation, and assist with lease preparation.
• Explain rental rates, lease terms, community policies, and move-in requirements.
• Maintain accurate prospect records and follow up on leads using the property's leasing software.
• Assist with marketing efforts, resident events, and outreach to increase occupancy.
• Maintain an organized, professional leasing office and attractive model apartments.
• Assist with renewals, resident communications, and general administrative duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Work closely with the property management team to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Follow fair housing laws and all applicable company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment leasing or multifamily property management preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive, approachable attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn property management software.
• Familiarity with leasing platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, or Entrata is a plus.
• Reliable, dependable, and motivated to meet leasing goals.
