Seasonal Van Driver

Liberation Wholesale are looking for an aspiring HGV Driver to join our busy Distribution Centre team! Are you interested in driving and looking to build a long-term career in logistics? We're looking for a Seasonal Van Driver to join our team from October through to January , supporting our busiest trading period. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable delivery and distribution experience while working alongside our experienced drivers and warehouse team. For the right candidate, this position could be the first step towards a career as an HGV Driver , with the opportunity to progress into a permanent role and receive support towards gaining HGV qualifications. As one of Guernsey's leading wholesalers of Wines, Spirits, Beers & Minerals, we supply a wide range of customers across the island including Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Shops and more. This is a hands-on, varied role combining customer deliveries, stock handling and warehouse support, giving you a great introduction to the world of professional driving and distribution. What will you be doing? Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers across Guernsey using a company van Providing excellent customer service and acting as an ambassador for Liberation Wholesale Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately Supporting warehouse operations, including picking orders and preparing deliveries Handling and moving stock including Wines, Beers, Spirits, Soft Drinks and Kegs/Barrels Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Working closely with the wider Distribution Centre team to ensure deliveries are completed on time Learning from experienced drivers and gaining an understanding of HGV operations and distribution processes Future HGV Driver Development We're keen to hear from individuals looking to build a long-term career within our business. Successful candidates who demonstrate commitment, reliability and potential during the seasonal contract may have the opportunity to: Progress into a permanent driving role Begin training towards a Category C HGV Licence Receive support with HGV qualifications and development Build a rewarding career within our Distribution team What do you need?
