Junior MEP Project Manager- $80,000-$100,000 New York City | Permanent | On Site Our client, a leading engineering consultancy based in New York, specialising in Building restoration and analysis have a track record of successfully completing rehabilitation projects of varying sizes and scopes. As they are in process of expanding their MEP services division they are seeking a talented and motivated MEP assistant project manager with a strong focus on commercial HVAC systems to accommodate for substantial amount of incoming complex projects on the horizon. Responsibilities Assist in managing MEP construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Review MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals. Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject At least 3-5 years of professional experience in MEP projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and similar software Strong knowledge of local NYC mechanical codes and building design codes Knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, chilling systems and cooling towers Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Permanent Residents or Green Card holders only!
