Accounts Payable ClerkReporting to: AP SupervisorLocation: Evansville, INStatus: Non-Exempt (part-time)Job Purpose: The accountant is responsible for reviewing and processing all internal invoices.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all accounts payable to ensure invoices are processed accurately. Work with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.Verifies purchase orders and matches with receiving documents and invoicesProcess employee expense reimbursements and maintain the prepaid travel accountReconcile credit card statements with appropriate receipts and approvalsQualifications & RequirementsHigh School Diploma, Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field preferredKnowledge of AS400 and MS Office software, preferred2+ years of previous related financial experience, preferredAttention to detail, high accuracy in entering financial data and catching discrepanciesOrganized and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Physical DemandsSitting, talking and listening at least 2/3 of the timeLifting up to 25 poundsStooping and kneelingFine motor coordinationWorking ConditionsOffice environment
