Associate Attorney - Personal Injury

To learn more, visit our website: Benefits: 10 PTO days + firm-observed holidays Health insurance 401(k) Performance bonuses Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000 Responsibilities: Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary Perform research on case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case Qualifications: State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desired Proficiency in computers is vital Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed A JD degree and Florida bar, with no disciplinary or malpractice history Three to five years of legal experience A genuine interest in the personal injury field A Self-starter driven by long-term career goals Superior oral and written advocacy skills Bonus Experience: Personal injury experience Bilingual About Company At Frankl Kominsky Injury Lawyers, we are committed to providing aggressive, effective legal representation to each individual client.
