Associate Art Director

Associate Art Director We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Associate Art Director to join our art department. This role will work closely with recording artists to conceptualize and execute album artwork, merchandise, marketing campaigns, and digital content that align with Epitaph's artists and their vision. The ideal candidate has a strong background in graphic design, an understanding of the label's genres, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Video editing skills are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the recording artists & Marketing Directors to develop and execute visual concepts for album packaging, promotional materials, merchandise, and digital assets. Work directly with artists, photographers, illustrators, and freelancers to bring creative projects to life. Design and refine album covers, vinyl packaging, and related physical media. Create compelling visuals for social media, web, and marketing campaigns. Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. Stay current with design trends, contemporary music, and emerging technologies. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the music industry. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in album artwork, typography, branding, and digital design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects). Knowledge of print production, packaging, and merchandise design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple creative projects simultaneously. Passion for music and an understanding of Epitaph's roster and aesthetic.
