Pharmacy Warehouse Clerk – OptumRx
Contract to hire!
Location: OptumRx, 4900 Rivergrade Rd, E100, Irwindale, CA 91706
Schedule:
- Monday–Tuesday: 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Wednesday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM–1:30 PM
- Weekends: Closed
Position Overview
OptumRx is seeking a dependable and hardworking Pharmacy Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role works as part of an 11-person team responsible for preparing and shipping approximately 1,000 packages per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Order and organize warehouse supplies
- Pack medications for shipment
- Prepare packages accurately and efficiently
- Support high-volume daily shipping operations
- Stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
- Lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds
- Operate pallet jacks and pallet lifts after training
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and pharmacy team members
- Follow established operational and safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous pallet jack experience
- Previous pharmacy or pharmaceutical warehouse experience
- Experience with packing, shipping, or fulfillment operations
License or Certification
No professional license or certification is required.
