Forklift Operator

Trillium is seeking Reach Truck Forklift Operators in Columbus!


This temp-to-hire role gives you the chance to step into a strong, well-run operation where reach truck forklift operators are a key part of keeping daily warehouse activity moving smoothly. You’ll handle receiving, shipping, inventory control, and safe material flow throughout the facility while working with a team that values consistency, communication, and reliability.


You’ll be conducting high pushing and pulling customer orders from a maximum of five levels. Duties will also include staging outbound shipments, and helping to maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment that supports both the team and the customers they serve.


Responsibilities:
- Operate reach truck forklifts for high pushing and pulling of product.
- Receive, inspect, store, pick, pull, and stage materials and customer orders.
- Generate, scan, and apply shipping labels; process inbound/outbound transactions in warehouse systems.
- Verify shipments, resolve receiving discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory using FIFO practices.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards while supporting daily operations and special projects.
- Work effectively with the team in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Perform all duties in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and moderate noise.


Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

- Strong communication, attention to detail, and basic math skills for accurate inventory work.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and follow OSHA-compliant warehouse safety practices.
- Proven reach truck forklift operation experience.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for simple documentation and tracking.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent and a current forklift certification.
- At least six months of warehouse experience with exposure to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order picking.
- Ability to operate reach truck forklifts safely and consistently.
