Instructional Systems Designer

Instructional Systems Designer, Junior Help develop training that supports the Intelligence Community by building interactive courses and collaborating with subject matter experts. Responsibilities Collaborate with SMEs and product designers to gather training requirements. Assist in shaping effective learning solutions using the ADDIE model. Design learner‑focused materials and performance support tools for digital and classroom settings. Support development of training content, ensuring alignment with instructional technologies and learning theories. Participate in meetings, incorporate feedback, and support updates throughout the development cycle. Core Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment Knowledge of learning theory and instructional technologies Experience with eLearning tools Experience with computer‑based training or curriculum development Ability to create basic instructional materials, learning objectives, and assessments Ability to learn how to integrate training into Learning Management Systems Ability to collaborate with instructors and SMEs TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Preferred Qualifications Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Learning, Education, or Instructional Design Instructional Design–related certification Completion of training in learning, education, or instructional design Clearance Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required. Compensation & Benefits At Booz Allen, compensation for this position ranges from $39,600.00 to $81,000.00 (annualized USD).
