Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a highly visible role supporting the full accounting cycle in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You will work closely with senior finance leadership and have real exposure to strategic initiatives, including a NetSuite implementation and ongoing process automation efforts. Our client is seeking a self-motivated candidate who can quickly grow into a more senior-level role. Responsibilities Own month-end close entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reporting packages Record payroll journal entries and support multi-entity payroll compliance Maintain the cash forecast and record weekly cash activity in NetSuite Support the annual external audit by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests Maintain strong internal controls across all entities and ensure documentation is audit-ready Cross-train and serve as backup to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions Lead and participate in special projects, including NetSuite implementation and workflow automation Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial analysis and decision support Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, close timelines, and reporting Requirements 1-2 years of progressive accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA preferred Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience applying accounting standards in practice Hands-on experience with NetSuite required Experience supporting annual external audits Proven ability to improve processes and drive automation within an accounting function High-ownership mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Clear, professional communication skills across all levels of an organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
