Job Description
Med/Surg RN - NIGHTS

Schedule

Three 12-hour night shifts. Holiday coverage required.

Assignment Details

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN in the state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BCLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate members of the patient care team to provide individualized quality patient care.
• Develop patient care plans in partnership with physicians, other team members, the patient, and, if applicable, the patient's family.
• Utilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across all age groups.
• Promote teamwork with medical staff and personnel throughout the facility.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding confidentiality and other relevant regulations.
