Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience. This position requires a strong clinical background in telemetry and the ability to provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio State RN license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
