Press OperatorWe are seeking a skilled press operator to produce custom business forms with precision and accuracy.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Press Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 01:30pm)Set up and operate rotary offset printing presses according to customer specifications and production schedules.Mount and register printing plates, load paper rolls, and prepare press components for production runs.Adjust ink fountains, rollers, numbering machines, punches, and perforation equipment to ensure quality output.Run proof samples, inspect print quality, and make necessary adjustments to registration, alignment, and ink distribution.Monitor press performance throughout production and troubleshoot printing or mechanical issues.Clean presses, plates, blankets, and ink systems following completion of press runs.Maintain production records and perform routine equipment maintenance while adhering to safety standards.Press Operator Qualifications:Will train on day shift and move to swing shift 3pm-1130pm M-F starting in January 2027.Previous experience operating offset, lithographic, or rotary printing presses preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production specifications, and quality standards.High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and stoop throughout the shift.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move 100+ lbs. with appropriate assistance or equipment.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
