Exciting Full-Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Talladega, AL! MainStreet Family Care is growing and is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant (PA). The PA will provide patient‑focused care in urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will lead a small team in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal Suturing and splinting General orthopedic evaluation and management Review x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist) General dermatology and eye problems General EKG interpretation Emergency management skills General gynecology expertise Treat children of all ages Occupational medicine and telemedicine Schedule MainStreet Clinic Hours – open extended hours, 7 days a week. Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Qualifications Physician Assistant Board Certification required MSN or higher education required (New graduates welcomed) DOT certification required or willing to obtain (cost covered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred Compensation and Benefits Health, dental, vision coverage Malpractice insurance Starting bonus and incentive bonuses $750 CME allowance per year UpToDate subscription Paid time off Paid orientation and training 401(k) eligible after 90 days Rotating shifts – work 7 of 14 days MainStreet Family Care is an equal opportunity employer.
