Salary/Position Classification $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 10-20 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: No Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Duties & Responsibilities Team members work in the kitchen preparing food, at the front counter helping customers through the ordering process, and cleaning and washing dishes Prepare and cook to order food and assembling of sandwiches that require preparation in a timely manner Take orders from customers and serve customers at the counters or tables and ensure accuracy of order Provides exceptional customer service to our customers. Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in all work areas to promote a clean image Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils Operate large-volume cooking equipment Verify food meets quality and quantity expectations Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions and preparation and cooking of food accordingly Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up Checks products and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift Follows all franchise policy and procedures Perform several different tasks every day and other duties as assigned Required Competencies Positive/optimistic attitude Willingness to learn Integrity Strong work ethic Minimum Requirements Ability to stand for 3–4 hours Ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.
