Landscaping Services, Inc. (LSI) LSI is seeking team-oriented, motivated, and dependable employees who are looking to grow their career in the landscaping industry. LSI is a national award-winning, second-generation family-owned and operated grounds management firm headquartered in Nashville, TN since 1988. We offer full‑time, year‑round employment. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Responsibilities Installing plants and other hard materials. Cutting lawns using various sized power mowers. Trimming and edging using a gas‑powered edger/trimmer. Operating a gas‑powered blower. Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas‑powered hedge trimmers. Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed. Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing them onto burlap and onto a truck or trailer. Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe. Ensuring use of proper equipment and adhering to safety standards and precautions. Skills We’re Seeking At least 1 year of landscaping experience is preferred. Management experience is preferred. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Physical requirements: must be able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear; ability to lift 70 lbs.
