Logistics Specialist

A growing organization in the transportation and supply chain industry is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation operations and customer service activities in Dublin, OH. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where you will coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers and customers, and help ensure timely and cost-effective transportation solutions. Responsibilities Coordinate and execute transportation plans for inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipments across multiple markets Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers while supporting capacity and load coverage needs Monitor transportation activity, track shipments, and proactively address potential service disruptions to ensure on-time delivery performance Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status, scheduling, and operational updates Manage transportation-related documentation, system updates, and recordkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance Collaborate with customer service, operations, and accounting teams to resolve shipment issues, support freight payment inquiries, and identify process improvements Qualifications At least 2 years of experience working within supply chain, transportation, or freight-related operations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Able to effectively use multiple screens and systems Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
