Be the imaging expert at the heart of Interventional Radiology

You’re the one clinicians trust when every second and every image matters. In this role, you’ll drive radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images that interventional teams rely on.

You’ll be embedded in a busy Interventional Radiology department, helping physicians diagnose and treat patients with precision and confidence.

What You'll Work On

You’ll support a dedicated Interventional Radiology department focused on fast, accurate, high-quality imaging:

• Radiographic imaging for interventional procedures
• Fluoroscopic imaging to guide minimally invasive interventions
• Diagnostic imaging workflows in Interventional Radiology
• Image quality optimization for complex procedures
• Radiation safety and equipment operation
• Time-sensitive imaging for acute and inpatient cases
• Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and technologists
• Patient-centered imaging in a hospital environment

You’ll be operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology setting where quality and speed go hand-in-hand.

Your images will guide the procedure—there’s no room for “good enough.”

What You'll Be Doing

• Utilizing radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to obtain diagnostic images
• Producing high-quality images that support interventional procedures
• Working efficiently to keep Interventional Radiology cases on schedule
• Positioning patients and equipment to optimize image quality and safety
• Following department protocols for imaging in Interventional Radiology
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe procedure area
• Adhering to hospital safety training and infection control standards
• Managing physical demands including standing, walking, and lifting medium to heavy weights
• Using appropriate PPE and precautions when exposed to blood and bodily fluids
• Collaborating with clinical staff to support patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Documenting and completing work in a timely, accurate manner

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma
• Completion of two years of formal training in an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification
• Current Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist license
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Interventional Radiography experience (2+ years preferred)
• Comfort working with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
• Ability to handle the physical demands of standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
• Commitment to radiation safety, patient safety, and hospital safety protocols

Important Requirements

Must be ARRT certified.

Must be licensed by the State of Rhode Island as a Radiologic Technologist.

Must be CPR certified or able to obtain certification within 3 months of hire.

Role requires standing, walking, and lifting medium to heavy weights most of the day, with potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
