Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care for emergency room patients
• Implement the medical plan of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the shift, responding to changes in acuity
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or valid Multi-State Compact RN License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Relevant emergency room or clinical nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with specialty-specific certifications relevant to emergency nursing (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, CEN)
